Bread worthgetting up for.

Milled, mixed and baked on Cavenagh Street. Nothing arrives frozen and nothing waits until tomorrow.

Loaves cooling on a rack

The bakehouse

One oven, lit at four.

Everything is mixed the night before and baked the morning you buy it, which is why we run out and why we will not pretend otherwise.

The flour is milled two streets away. The starter is eleven years old and has a name we are not telling you.

Why the queue

Three things we will not change.

None of them make the bread cheaper. All of them make it better.

Coffee on the pass01

Milled two streets away

Flour that was wheat last week, not last winter.

02

No dough held over

What is not sold by four is given away, not sold tomorrow.

03

One oven, one baker

Jess has run it since 2014 and still starts at four.
